Sinitus Tempo Presents Obii Say- "Product of People"

Obii Say 'speaks' on latest mixtape invention "Product of People"

(November 28, 2009) ----The streets have housed many, but who has something to say about it?

Obii does.

Obii Say, the 17-year old emcee from Southeast Washington DC has an eye on his environment. The result? A natural point-of-view musical production about what he has come to understand of humanity in such a short time.

Product of People, the 3rd mixtape from Obii Say (born Darrius Freeman) is the beginning of hip-hop on its return. Produced by the eclectic and clever hand of Sinitus Tempo, this mixtape is sincerely the epitomy of transition from youth to adulthood. Conceptually, Product of People presents just that. The ideas and actions of people culminated into one mass of intrinsic beats and dynamic word play.

Being a writer for nearly a decade, the age of Obii Say has no bearing on his developed style and sense of self. With an ever growing fan base, Obii Say has been able to carry his weight with some of the best hip-hop artists in the DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia) area such as Lyriciss, K-Beta, Nando McFlyy, Gordo Brega, Phz-Sicks, Young Sleep, and G2. The latest single “Dogfight” has many convinced that the future of hip-hop music will have an extensive life-span.
