M1 Platoon performs with Carlitta Durand and FatSnacks

Chapel Hill, NC-  Carlitta Durand, best known for her appearances on NC's Little Brother's "Get Back" album, will be performing live at Jack Spratt in Chapel Hill NC on April 10th, 2009.

Doors open at 9pm.  

Durand, whose worked with 9th Wonder, Stars and Murph,  and others from the Justus League camp is currently working on her mixtape (name soon to be released). Accompanying Durand will be the hip-hop jazz group, FatSnacks  as well as DC's M1 Platoon. 

M1 Platoon, who recently opened with Kooley High for Blu & Exile, are working on their 5th mixtape, We Not Them pt. III. This is their biggest project to date. Be on the lookout for a series of video clips from the artist giving an introspective look as to how they started and where they're going. (Click on the cover of their first mixtape "M1 Invasion" to hear music from the groups inception.)
